Instagram Music Launched by Facebook in India |TechNews

• Users can tag song lyrics, snippets on their Instagram stories
• Instagram music can be found in the sticker section
• This feature allows users to add songs to their Facebook profiles

In an effort to get users to express themselves through music on Facebook and Instagram with "Stories" and other creative tools like "Lyrics on Instagram" and "Lip Sync Live", Facebook launched Instagram Music in India on Tuesday.

It allows users to add songs to their Facebook profiles.

"Facebook and music have shared something special - they both bring people together and provide personal expression and that's why music is important to us in India's powerful music ecosystem. Moments that share in the music, "Introduction to Facebook India Head of sharing the lock and Manish Chopra said in a statement.

The social music giant has joined hands with the Indian music community to enable these new products.

Earlier this year, Facebook India partnered with leading music labels such as T-Series Music, G Music Company, and Yashraj Films, thus licensing their music to use on the platform and social experience on Instagram.

"We see the families of our applications taking up stories faster In today's news, with the launch of music stickers in stories, we are encouraging people to give new ways to express and communicate with their friends," says Paresh Rajawat, video and music product, Facebook.
