One of the biggest players and companies in the Microsoft open-source community is the recently open-source Windows 10 Calculator app on Github. This approach allows developers to contribute to the development of a calculator or use its codes for their own projects.
Microsoft has announced that Windows 10's calculator will be a very useful feature that lets users always view the app. The Windows Calculator is getting the 'Always on Top' feature, which lets you see it all the time, the application window will be displayed at the top of other windows.
The calculator will always have the following capabilities at the top:
- Pin and unpin the calculator over other windows.
- Ability to use any other applications or tasks while pinning the calculator to the top of the window.
- You will have access to all calculator features.
"One of the top things we request from our Windows Calculator features is the ability to put the calculator on top of other windows while you're working - you'll soon be able to do that! Small calculator," Microsoft noted in its announcement.
Microsoft is adding a compact view mode to the calculator that makes it move to a smaller window (smaller than the currently allowed minimum window size) without compromising the basic controls.
The new feature will be sent to the calculator soon via the Microsoft Store.
